Contacting Nurses
Because we provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our consumers, we cannot provide a single, toll-free number for accessing Optum services. We provide different telephone numbers for different groups of consumers.

If you have Optum services as a benefit through your health plan and you'd like to contact an Optum nurse or employee assistance specialist, please call the toll-free number on your health plan ID card or contact your member services department. If you have Optum services as a benefit through your employer, please contact your human resources department.

Optum provides its services through health plans and insurance carriers, directly to employers and through various membership organizations and government institutions.
